Rosie and her friend James came to visit in February 2011. Rosie is now working in London in a live-in position and loving it. She has two boys to look after in central London. Rosie say that working in London is very different to Wellington - much busier. Rosie got her job through Gumtree in the UK.
Advice to others - be open to meeting new people and looking for friends. There are many Kiwi-South African pubs to go to to meet new people, while Rosie's employer has introduced her to a different circle of friends and the school, where one of the children in her care attends, has also been a great place for Rosie to meet another group. |

Phillippa from the January 2010 course and her son Charlie who is 5 months. Phillippa is loving being a mum and is so glad she completed the Wellington Nannies College course prior to being a mum. Phillippa is currently living in Palmerston North with her partner and is currently looking for an in home childcare position. |

Rachael Burrell, from the July 2009 course, gave birth to Mason Phoenix Evans on the 12th of August 2010 weighing 6lb 10oz.
Rachel said, completing the WNC course helped her develop confidence as a young parent. She has been able to put into practise the many skills she gained from the course. |

Emma Gibson completed our course in 2003. Since then she has attained her Bachelor of Teaching at Victoria University. Emma has worked in a variety of Early Childhood Centres. Recently she has returned to Home-based Care and is now a Programme Tutor for PORSE. |
